Our Story

We know that learning begins long before children enter kindergarten. In fact, 90% of a child’s brain is hardwired by age five, which makes the first five years of life crucial for building the foundation for all future learning and achievement. A child’s early experiences matter, which is why we are passionate and deeply committed to ensuring all of Georgia’s children and families have access to high-quality, affordable child care. We work directly with both families and child care providers to make this a reality.

Since 1979, Quality Care for Children (QCC), has empowered child care providers with proven and innovative tools, professional development and training, resources, and direct, individualized supports to help them sustain and grow their programs, offering the children in their care the very best early learning experience possible. Additionally, we have guided families in finding and accessing nurturing, quality early learning and care programs, and we’ve provided tuition scholarships to eliminate barriers for families in under resourced communities.
